Likely beginning in Spring 2019, the New Homes Inside Sales Agent will work exclusively with buyers to help them purchase homes in the new homes residential development. This includes communicating the value of the new homes development, providing in-depth knowledge of the development, and giving model home demonstrations. You will build long-term relationships with buyers, work through any obstacles while buyers are under agreement, and provide continual updates on the construction of the buyers home.

Please note: This is a potential full-time position tentatively opening up in Spring 2019. We will keep applicants informed as soon as possible if anything changes with the nature or timing of the project. When the project is over, the hire may have the opportunity to work on another new home development (if available) or serve as a more typical Houwzer Buyers agent, depending on success in the role.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work at Model Home sales office on Saturdays, Sundays and 3 days during the week (10am - 6pm), or by appointment.

  • Work with Corporate Team to develop consumer-facing product offerings

  • Respond to leads and clients via email, phone, text, or in-person meetings

  • Manage contracts and paperwork, and ensure buyer broker commission checks received at settlement are immediately given to Operations Manager or Team Admin for deposit

  • Provide exceptional client experience through all phases of the construction process

  • Actively participate in company marketing initiatives to drive traffic to New Homes Team

  • Network with potential clients, developers, and other agents, remaining current in industry trends and best practices

  • Regularly and accurately enter data into company CRM

  • Provide suggestions to improve operational procedures

  • Be available for other duties and overtime as needed

  • Volunteer 50 hours per year (Required of all Houwzer employees)

Requirements & Qualifications

  • At least a high school diploma plus 2 years of experience in a professional setting

  • 2+ years experience working and selling in residential homebuilding environment

  • PA Real Estate Salesperson License or Broker License required

  • Knowledge in new home design, options, and features.

  • Tech-savvy and familiar with CRM and real estate applications, such as TREND MLS, ProsperWorks, Zillow and Trulia, as well as mobile technology and the Google Suite (Google Calendar, Docs)

  • Ability to work under pressure and solve problems independently.

  • Great interpersonal and customer service skills that align with our mission and values.

  • Strong project management skills and a strong attention to detail

  • The flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and client needs

  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining efficiency, e.g. when performing data entry

Physical Demands  

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, go up and down stairs, use a motor vehicle, be on feet for up to two hours, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear  

  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds  

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
