The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for managing the promotion and execution for all of Houwzer’s community events, including sponsored events and home buying and selling happy hour classes. In addition, the Marketing Coordinator will support various tasks for the marketing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating, promoting, and reporting on our community events. You will support sales managers and agents who are the on-site managers of the events. You will also report to and support the Director of Growth Marketing in executing other campaigns including: creating email campaigns, responding to client reviews, scheduling organic social posts, and ordering marketing materials. Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to plan home buying and selling happy hour classes at local restaurants for the year

  • Create and follow documentation on the process of executing events

  • Schedule events and communicate pre-event instructions to the team

  • Post event to Eventbrite and Facebook and share with appropriate team members

  • Support marketing in creating Facebook ads for the event

  • Communicate attendance estimates to local restaurant

  • Organize post-event data for agent and automated lead follow-up

  • Collaborate with sales managers, agents, and admin to support community outreach efforts

  • Organize and create email marketing templates and campaigns

  • Respond to reviews from our clients

  • Support the marketing team in posting organic social posts

  • Order marketing materials

  • Additional projects as assigned

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support Director of Growth Marketing in executing growth campaigns

  • Be available for overtime as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Desire to learn and execute quickly

  • Tech-savvy and familiar with the Google Suite (Google Calendar, Docs)

  • Ability to work under pressure and solve problems independently

  • Proven critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

  • The flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and company needs

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, go up and down stairs, use a motor vehicle, be on feet for up to two hours, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear  

  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds  

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
